Özet
Son yıllarda ne eğitimde ne de istihdamda (NENİ) yer alan gençler, dünya genelinde giderek daha fazla dikkat çeken önemli bir toplumsal sorun hâline gelmiştir. Artan ilgiye rağmen, Türkiye bağlamında, NENİ durumundaki gençlerin yaşam deneyimlerini, ihtiyaçlarını ve karşılaştıkları zorlukları anlamaya yönelik çalışmaların sayıca sınırlı olduğu görülmektedir. Bu doğrultuda, bu araştırmanın amacı, NENİ durumundaki gençlerin değerlere bağlı yaşam deneyimlerini derinlemesine incelemektir. Bu araştırmada nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden fenomenolojik desen kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın katılımcılarını, kartopu örnekleme yöntemiyle ulaşılan 3’ü erkek, 9’u kadın olmak üzere toplam 12 lisans mezunu birey oluşturmaktadır. Katılımcıların yaşları 23 ile 29 arasında değişmekte olup, yaş ortalaması 25.17 (Ss = 2.33) olarak hesaplanmıştır. Veri toplama aracı olarak araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen kişisel bilgi formu ve görüş alma formu kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen veriler içerik analizi yöntemiyle analiz edilmiştir. Araştırmanın bulguları, NENİ durumundaki gençlerin değerlere bağlı yaşamı nasıl deneyimlediklerini anlamaya odaklanmış ve değerler, değerlere bağlı yaşamın katkıları ile değerlere bağlı yaşamın getirdiği zorluklar olmak üzere üç tema altında toplanmıştır. Elde edilen bulgular doğrultusunda araştırmacılara, uygulayıcılara ve politika yapıcılara yönelik çeşitli öneriler sunulmuştur.
